The BSC PREFERRED LRAD1720601 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink designed for residential and light commercial installations. The single square bowl measures 14 inches by 14 inches with a depth of 5.875 inches, offering usable capacity for dishwashing and utility tasks. Overall sink dimensions are 17 inches by 20 inches by 6 inches. The offset rear-centered drain improves under-sink cabinet space and plumbing access. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce basin noise during use. The lustrous brushed finish is scratch-resistant, and the sink is ADA compliant when installed to applicable guidelines. Licensed plumbers and skilled tradespeople handle typical installations.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen remodels, bar setups, and laundry areas where a compact single-bowl drop-in configuration is required. The square bowl profile maximizes usable basin area within the 17-inch by 20-inch cutout footprint. U-channel mounting clips are included, which streamline drop-in installation and reduce time spent working below the deck. The rear drain placement keeps the bowl floor open and supports standard 3.5-inch drain basket assemblies. The sink is manufactured in the USA from Type 304 stainless steel, which offers corrosion resistance appropriate for continuous water contact environments.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation single-bowl kitchen sink for residential kitchens, bars, and laundry areas. Requires a countertop cutout sized to accept a 17-inch by 20-inch drop-in sink with a rear-centered drain configuration. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain basket assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes, including IPC requirements for fixture installation. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain plumbing before removing an existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the perimeter of the cutout before seating the sink, and secure with the included U-channel mounting clips. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the sink rim or countertop substrate.
