The BSC PREFERRED LRAD1522602 is a single bowl, drop-in stainless steel kitchen sink built for residential and light commercial prep areas. Constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it delivers the corrosion resistance and structural integrity required for daily, high-volume use. The sink measures 15 inches in length by 22 inches in width with a 6-inch bowl depth, providing a usable workspace suited to dishwashing and food prep tasks. An offset rear-center drain maximizes usable floor space inside the bowl and improves clearance in the cabinet below. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce noise during use. Licensed plumbers and kitchen installers handle this fixture in both new-construction and renovation settings.
This sink fits into standard drop-in cutouts and is ADA compliant when installed to applicable accessibility requirements. The rectangular bowl interior measures 11.5 inches in length by 16 inches in width, sized to accommodate standard cookware. The U-channel mounting system accepts installation clips along its perimeter for secure, level positioning without specialty tools. It is suited for residential kitchen installations as well as small commercial prep sinks where ADA accessibility compliance is required. The Lustertone Classic finish resists visible light scratching through normal use, and the manufacturer notes that deeper surface blemishes can be addressed with a compatible stainless steel restoration kit.
Designed as an OEM-style drop-in replacement or new installation sink for standard residential and light commercial kitchen cutout configurations accepting a 15-inch by 22-inch single bowl sink.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Verify the cabinet cutout dimensions match the sink footprint before dropping in the fixture, and apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter before seating. Secure mounting clips evenly within the U-channel to prevent rocking and ensure a watertight seal at the countertop surface.
