The BSC PREFERRED LRAD1517452 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. Measuring 15 inches by 17.5 inches overall with a 12-inch by 12-inch bowl interior, it is sized for compact kitchens, bar areas, and laundry rooms. The sink meets ADA compliance standards, making it accessible for a broad range of users. A sound-deadening pad bonded to the underside reduces vibration and lowers operational noise. The scratch-resistant grain finish reflects light evenly and is serviceable with a standard restoration kit for deeper surface marks. Made in the USA, this sink is designed for licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers performing a straightforward drop-in rough-in.
The LRAD1517452 is suited for residential kitchen countertop installations, bar sink cutouts, and laundry sink applications where counter space is limited. The drop-in design seats the rim on the countertop surface without requiring undermount hardware. The U-channel mounting system positions clips inside the channel prior to lowering the sink into the cutout, reducing the need for extended work in the cabinet below. A minimum cabinet width of 18 inches is required for proper fit, and the drain opening must be 3.5 inches to accept a standard basket strainer assembly.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 18 inches and a 3.5-inch drain opening. Compatible with standard basket strainer drain assemblies used in residential kitchen, bar, and laundry sink applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the rim before seating the sink into the cutout, and secure mounting clips evenly to prevent movement or leaks. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the rim channel on a gauge-18 sheet metal sink.
