The BSC PREFERRED LR3322PD3 is a drop-in double bowl kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, designed for residential and light commercial kitchen installations. Overall dimensions measure 33 inches x 22 inches x 8.125 inches, with each equal-sized rectangular bowl sized at 13.5 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 7.75 inches deep. The sink features a Perfect Drain design that eliminates the gap around the drain opening, reducing food particle buildup and simplifying sanitation. Sound-deadening pads are applied to the underside to dampen noise and vibration during use. The lustrous finish resists everyday scratches and can be restored with a standard scratch repair kit if deeper marks occur. Licensed plumbers and experienced remodelers handle typical installation of this unit.
The LR3322PD3 is suited for residential kitchens and commercial food-prep environments where a self-rimming, drop-in configuration is preferred. The equal-sized dual basins provide dedicated zones for washing, rinsing, soaking, and drying simultaneously. A minimum cabinet opening of 36 inches is required. The countertop cutout dimension is 32.375 inches x 21.375 inches, and installation uses a U-channel mounting method. Two LKPD1 Perfect Drains and strainers are included in the box, providing all drain hardware needed for a complete setup without sourcing additional components.
Designed for drop-in installation in kitchens with a minimum 36-inch base cabinet. Requires a countertop cutout of 32.375 inches x 21.375 inches. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain openings using the included LKPD1 Perfect Drain hardware.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain plumbing before beginning removal of any existing sink. Verify countertop material thickness and cutout dimensions against manufacturer specifications before cutting. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the sink rim or damage countertop surfaces.
