The BSC PREFERRED LR3122PD5 is an 18-gauge stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink built for residential and light commercial installations. The single-bowl design measures 31 x 22 x 7.625 inches and features a rectilinear profile with straight sidewalls and a flat bottom, maximizing usable basin volume. Construction uses 18-gauge stainless steel with a lustrous, scratch-resistant finish. The sink ships with the LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer assembly included. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use. Licensed plumbers and finish carpenters typically install this fixture during new construction or kitchen renovation projects.
The LR3122PD5 is suited for residential kitchens, commercial prep stations, and food service environments requiring a reliable drop-in basin. The sink requires a minimum cabinet width of 36 inches and is configured for five faucet holes, accommodating a standard faucet plus accessories such as soap dispensers or side sprays. Countertop cutout hardware included with the unit is rated for countertop material up to 0.75 inches thick. The integrated Perfect Drain design eliminates the gap around the drain opening, directing food scraps and liquids away from the deck surface for improved sanitation.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation sink for residential kitchens and commercial prep areas requiring a minimum 36-inch base cabinet. Accepts countertop material up to 0.75 inches thick. Includes LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local amendments. Turn off the water supply at the shutoff valves under the cabinet and disconnect the drain assembly before removing an existing sink. Set the drop-in unit into the countertop cutout, apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the perimeter as specified by the countertop material manufacturer, and secure the mounting clips before reconnecting supply lines and drain. Do not overtighten mounting hardware on laminate or stone countertops.
