The BSC PREFERRED LR3122PD0 is a single bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, built for residential kitchen installations. At 31 inches long, 22 inches wide, and 7.625 inches deep, the sink fits a minimum cabinet opening of 36 inches. The rectangular basin measures 28 inches in length and 16 inches in width, providing sufficient room for washing, soaking, and stacking cookware and dishes. The integrated Perfect Drain technology closes the gap around the drain opening, preventing food particles from collecting at the base of the drain and making cleanup more thorough. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce impact and water noise during use. A U-channel mounting system positions the mounting clips inside the channel, simplifying installation without requiring extended time working beneath the cabinet.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations in both new construction and remodel applications. Its dimensions are sized to drop into a standard 36-inch base cabinet rough opening. The sink ships with an LKPD1 Perfect Drain strainer and the hardware needed for mounting. The stainless steel finish is described as repairable, meaning light surface scratches tend to blend with the brushed grain over time through normal use. Plumbers and skilled DIYers handling kitchen fixture replacements or new kitchen builds represent the primary installation audience for this sink.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for standard residential kitchens with a minimum 36-inch base cabinet. Includes the LKPD1 Perfect Drain strainer for use with the Perfect Drain opening.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson following local IPC requirements and the manufacturer instructions included with the sink. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing an existing sink. Verify the cabinet cutout dimensions against the sink rim before securing mounting clips. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the rim seal against the countertop surface.
