The BSC PREFERRED LR29182 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel double bowl drop-in kitchen sink measuring 29 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 7.625 inches in depth. Each of the two equal-sized square bowls measures 12 inches by 12 inches with a 7.5-inch depth, providing substantial capacity for simultaneous washing and rinsing. The sink features sound-deadening pads to reduce vibration and noise during use, and the scratch-resistant Lustertone Classic finish is designed to maintain its appearance under regular commercial and residential kitchen conditions. Manufactured in the USA from Type 304 stainless steel, this unit is built for long-term durability in demanding kitchen environments. Licensed plumbers and kitchen installation contractors are the primary installers for this type of fixture.
The LR29182 is suited for residential and light commercial kitchen installations where a dual-bowl configuration is required. The drop-in design with U-channel mounting simplifies installation by seating directly into a cutout in the countertop surface. Straight sidewalls and a flat bottom maximize usable bowl volume, which is beneficial for stacking cookware and large pots. A minimum cabinet size of 33 inches is required to accommodate this sink. Each bowl includes a 3.5-inch drain opening, and the faucet hole configuration supports two faucets, allowing flexible fixture placement.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new installation sink for kitchens with a minimum 33-inch base cabinet. Accommodates standard 3.5-inch basket strainer drains and dual-handle or two separate faucet configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. A drop-in installation requires an accurately sized countertop cutout and the use of appropriate sealant or mounting clips as specified by the installer. Do not overtighten mounting hardware, as this can deform the sink flange or damage the countertop substrate.
