The BSC PREFERRED LR2521PD1 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single bowl drop-in kitchen sink measuring 25 inches in length, 21.25 inches in width, and 7.875 inches in depth. The bowl interior measures 21 inches in length by 15.75 inches in width, providing ample working space for washing, soaking, and stacking cookware. The sink ships with an LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer, an edgeless drainage fitting that eliminates the gap around the drain opening where food debris typically collects. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and water noise during use. The lustrous grain finish is designed to blend light surface scratches into the surrounding texture over time.
This sink is intended for residential or light commercial kitchen installations where a drop-in configuration is preferred. The U-channel mounting system allows the sink to be set into a countertop cutout and secured from below without specialty tools, reducing time spent under the cabinet during installation. A minimum cabinet width of 30 inches is required for proper fit. The sink is suited for primary kitchen use, prep station setups, or utility applications where stainless steel durability and easy-clean surfaces are a priority. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers typically handle final connection to drain and supply lines.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertop cutouts with a minimum cabinet width of 30 inches. Compatible with standard kitchen drain and supply rough-in configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off water supply lines before beginning work and verify the countertop material can support the sink weight of 17.59 pounds before setting. Use the U-channel mounting hardware to secure the sink from below and apply plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the perimeter as required by the countertop material and local code. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as excessive force can distort the sink flange or damage laminate countertop edges.
