The BSC PREFERRED LR2502 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink with two offset rectangular bowls. The primary bowl measures 14 inches x 18 inches with a rear-right drain placement, while the secondary bowl measures 13.5 inches x 16 inches with a centered drain. Both bowls share a uniform depth of 7.75 inches. The offset drain positions free up cabinet space below while maximizing usable sink area. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use. This sink is manufactured in the United States and is designed for installation by a licensed plumber or experienced tradesperson.
The LR2502 is intended for residential kitchen installations requiring a drop-in configuration with a minimum cabinet width of 36 inches. The required countertop cutout dimension is 32-3/8 inches x 21-3/8 inches. The U-channel mounting system accepts standard mounting clips, simplifying the rough-in process. The sink fits into standard post-form or custom countertop materials. Its stainless steel construction handles heavy daily use including food prep, dishwashing, and utility tasks. Light surface scratches naturally blend over time, and deeper marks can be addressed with a stainless steel restoration kit.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new installation sink for residential kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 36 inches. Requires a countertop cutout of 32-3/8 inches x 21-3/8 inches.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the underside of the rim before setting the sink into the cutout, then secure with the provided mounting clips. Connect drain assemblies and supply lines after the sink is fully seated and clips are tightened.
