The BSC PREFERRED LR2219MR2 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink designed for residential kitchen installations. Measuring 22 inches in length, 19.5 inches in width, and 7.625 inches in depth, this single-bowl sink provides a large rectangular basin suited to dishwashing, food prep, and pot soaking. The interior bowl dimensions are 18 inches by 14 inches, giving adequate working space for standard kitchen tasks. A U-channel mounting system allows clips to seat inside the channel, reducing the time needed working below the countertop. Sound-deadening pads are factory-applied to the underside to reduce vibration and water noise during use. This part is installed by licensed plumbers during kitchen remodels, new construction, and countertop replacements.
The LR2219MR2 is suited to residential kitchen applications requiring a drop-in sink profile. The unit requires a minimum cabinet width of 27 inches and ships with a cutout template to guide countertop preparation. The center-positioned 3.5-inch drain opening is compatible with standard kitchen drain assemblies. The repairable stainless finish resists deep scratching and allows light surface marks to blend naturally over time, maintaining appearance through extended daily use. This sink is manufactured in the USA.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for residential kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 27 inches. Fits standard kitchen drain assemblies accepting a 3.5-inch drain opening.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Use the included cutout template to mark the countertop accurately before cutting to avoid clearance issues with the U-channel mounting clips. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as excessive clamping force can distort the sink rim or damage countertop laminate.
