The BSC PREFERRED LR20220 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single bowl drop-in kitchen sink built for demanding daily use in residential kitchens, prep areas, and light commercial settings. Overall dimensions measure 19.5 inches x 22 inches x 7.625 inches, with a square bowl interior of 16 inches x 16 inches that provides ample room for washing, stacking, and soaking. Sound-deadening pads mounted to the underside reduce vibration and noise during use. The lustrous stainless steel finish resists scratches and maintains its appearance under heavy-duty conditions. A licensed plumber typically performs the installation.
The LR20220 fits into most standard kitchen cabinet layouts and is suited for residential kitchens, food prep areas, and light commercial environments. The U-channel mounting system positions mounting clips inside the channel, reducing the need for extended under-sink work during installation. The drain opening measures 3.5 inches and is centered for straightforward drainage. The sink may also be configured for ADA-compliant installations depending on the supporting cabinetry and plumbing arrangement. Minimum cabinet size required is 24 inches.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new installation sink for standard kitchen base cabinets with a minimum width of 24 inches. Required cutout dimensions are 18.875 inches x 21.375 inches.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before beginning any sink replacement. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the cutout perimeter before dropping the sink into position, then secure mounting clips evenly to prevent warping or uneven seating. Do not overtighten mounting hardware, as this can distort the channel or damage the countertop substrate.
