The BSC PREFERRED LK99FC is a deluxe drain assembly designed for fireclay sinks in kitchen, prep, bar, and laundry applications. Constructed from Type 304 stainless steel, it delivers corrosion resistance and long-term durability in demanding daily-use environments. The drain features a 1-3/4 inch threaded body sub-assembly that seats securely into fireclay sink basins. A 1-1/2 inch O.D. by 4 inch stainless steel tailpiece provides reliable drainage flow. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers typically fit this drain during sink rough-in or replacement service. It functions as a straightforward waste fitting and is sold as a single unit.
This drain is suited for residential and light commercial installations involving fireclay sinks. Typical applications include kitchen sinks, prep sinks, bar sinks, and laundry basins where a threaded drain assembly is required. The 1-3/4 inch thread length allows for secure engagement with standard fireclay sink drain openings. A replacement strainer basket, model 72002169, is available separately to support ongoing maintenance. BSC PREFERRED designed this drain to coordinate with their sink accessory line, including sink grids and cutting boards.
Designed for use with BSC PREFERRED fireclay sinks. Compatible with the BSC PREFERRED sink accessory line including model 72002169 replacement strainer basket. Intended as a waste fitting solution for fireclay sink drain openings requiring a 1-3/4 inch threaded body sub-assembly.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and drain any standing water from the sink and trap before beginning work. Hand-tighten the threaded body sub-assembly into the sink drain opening first, then secure with the appropriate drain wrench to avoid over-torquing fireclay. Verify the tailpiece connection to the P-trap is watertight before returning the system to service.
