A separate blade extension button allows for tray cuts without exposing the full blade. The KN109 also features a bladeless tape-splitting function that lets users open taped cartons without deploying the blade at all, eliminating a common source of hand injuries on the dock floor. Each unit stores up to 5 blades internally and ships with one SP-017 Single-Notch Safety Blade (KN216) included.
