The BSC PREFERRED JAN195 is a medium-duty replacement broom head designed for commercial and institutional cleaning applications. Built on a hardwood block with two threaded handle holes, this broom head accepts standard threaded handles for quick assembly. The bristles are gray flagged polypropylene measuring 3 inches in length. Flagged tips on the polypropylene bristles help trap fine dust and debris more effectively than unflagged alternatives. This broom head is sold as a head-only unit, making it a practical replacement component for janitorial programs that already stock compatible handles.
The JAN195 is suited for light to medium-duty sweeping tasks in commercial, institutional, and industrial settings. Common applications include sweeping hard floor surfaces such as concrete, tile, and sealed wood in schools, warehouses, offices, and healthcare facilities. Because the handle is sold separately, maintenance teams can source handles and heads independently to match their existing inventory. The compatible handle is the BSC PREFERRED JAN125, sold separately.
Designed for use with threaded broom handles; compatible handle is BSC PREFERRED JAN125, sold separately.
Installation requires threading the handle into one of the two threaded holes on the hardwood block. No tools are typically required for handle attachment. Ensure the handle is fully seated and threads are engaged before use to prevent separation during sweeping. Inspect the threaded insert in the block periodically for wear, especially in high-use environments.
