The BSC PREFERRED IQRT45B is a room temperature foam-in-a-bag packaging system designed to protect fragile and high-value items during shipping without any external equipment or preheating unit. Each bag contains pre-loaded chemicals that activate on demand, expanding into a custom foam cushion around the product being protected. The system is fully portable and self-contained, making it practical for warehouse, fulfillment, and field packaging operations. The recommended activation temperature range is 65 degrees F to 90 degrees F. Heavy-duty bags in this system are suited for shipments weighing 40 to 80 pounds. Sold in cases of 120 bags.
The IQRT45B is used in protective packaging applications across distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and shipping operations where fragile or irregularly shaped items require a conforming cushion. Because no warming unit is needed, it performs the same function as preheated foam-in-bag systems such as Instapak Quick without the capital cost or setup time. It is well suited for low-to-high volume outbound shipping lines where portability and cleanup-free operation are priorities. Packaging specialists, warehouse staff, and fulfillment teams are the primary users.
Designed as a direct equivalent to part number S-14595B and functions as a room temperature alternative to Instapak Quick foam-in-bag systems that require a preheating warming unit.
Store and use in an environment between 65 degrees F and 90 degrees F for consistent foam expansion. Activate the bag according to the printed instructions on the packaging - do not puncture or compress the bag before activation. Dispose of used bags in accordance with local waste regulations. Consult the safety data sheet for chemical handling guidance before use.
