The BSC PREFERRED IQRT10B is a room temperature foam-in-a-bag protective packaging system designed for on-site cushioning without any external equipment. Each bag contains pre-measured chemicals that activate on contact inside the bag, expanding into a custom foam cushion that conforms to the shape of the item being protected. The system requires no preheating unit, making it fully portable and suitable for field use, warehouse applications, or any location where power or equipment access is limited. The recommended activation temperature range is 65 degrees F to 90 degrees F. This case contains 180 bags, designated Bag 10.
This packaging system is used across distribution, warehousing, and shipping operations where fragile or irregularly shaped items require custom protective cushioning. It is particularly suited for applications where a standard foam warmer or Instapak Quick warming unit is unavailable. The self-contained activation process means no mixing equipment, no cleanup, and no residual chemical exposure outside the bag. It functions as a direct room temperature equivalent to heat-activated foam-in-bag systems. Sold by the case, it is practical for high-volume packing stations or mobile packaging crews.
The IQRT10B is noted as equivalent to part number S-11815B and functions as a room temperature alternative to Instapak Quick foam-in-bag systems that require a preheating warming unit.
No tools or equipment are required to use this system. Ensure ambient temperature at the point of use is between 65 degrees F and 90 degrees F before activating bags, as temperatures outside this range may affect foam expansion and cushion performance. Activate the bag by following the manufacturer instructions printed on the packaging, and place the expanding foam directly around the item being protected before sealing the shipping container. Store unused bags within the recommended temperature range to maintain chemical integrity.
