The BSC PREFERRED ILR3322R2 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in single bowl sink with an integrated drainboard, designed for residential and light commercial kitchen installations. The square basin measures 16 inches by 16 inches with a 7.5-inch depth, providing ample capacity for soaking and washing. The scratch-resistant satin finish resists daily wear, and factory-applied sound-deadening pads reduce noise and vibration during use. A 3.5-inch drain opening accommodates standard basket strainers and most garbage disposal flanges. The U-channel mounting system positions clips inside the channel prior to drop-in placement, simplifying countertop installation for plumbing contractors and skilled installers.
This sink is suited for residential kitchens, bar areas, and laundry rooms where a self-rimming drop-in configuration is preferred. The integrated drainboard channels water back into the basin, keeping surrounding countertops dry during meal prep and dish drying. The overall unit dimensions measure 33 inches in length by 22 inches in width by 7.625 inches in height, fitting standard cabinet and countertop cutout configurations. Manufactured in the USA, the ILR3322R2 is appropriate for new construction and remodel applications where a single-basin layout with an integral drying surface is specified.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install single bowl sink compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain assemblies and most residential garbage disposal flanges. Suitable for kitchen, bar, and laundry room countertop cutout installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber following applicable IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before beginning work. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the underside rim before setting the sink into the cutout, then secure mounting clips evenly to prevent distortion of the rim. Verify drain alignment and test all connections for leaks before returning the system to service.
