The BSC PREFERRED ILGR5422L4 is an offset double-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The sink measures 54 inches x 22 inches x 10 inches overall and includes a built-in drainboard that channels excess water back into the basin, keeping the surrounding countertop clear during prep and cleanup. The Lustertone Classic finish is scratch-resistant and designed to blend light surface marks into the existing grain over time. Sound-deadening pads on the bottom and sides reduce operational noise during heavy use. Four pre-drilled faucet holes allow straightforward fixture selection and installation. This sink is suited for licensed plumbers and experienced trade professionals installing in residential or light commercial kitchen environments.
The ILGR5422L4 features two separate rectangular compartments sized for distinct tasks. The larger bowl measures 14 inches x 18 inches x 9.875 inches, providing depth for large stockpots and sheet pans. The smaller bowl measures 16 inches x 16 inches x 7.875 inches and is well-suited for rinsing produce or washing smaller cookware. The offset drain placement maximizes under-sink cabinet space and improves drainage flow. A U-channel mounting system with clips secures the sink from below, reducing installation time compared to traditional clip-and-rail systems. The sink ships at a package weight of approximately 40 pounds and is sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style drop-in replacement or new installation sink for standard residential and light commercial kitchen countertop cutouts accepting a 54 x 22 inch drop-in basin.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code. Shut off water supply lines and disconnect existing drain assemblies before beginning any sink removal or installation work. Verify countertop cutout dimensions and substrate thickness before mounting to ensure proper clip engagement with the U-channel system. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the sink flange or damage countertop material.
