The BSC PREFERRED HW35T0705-16 is a flat-finish, neutral-base exterior acrylic paint formulated for professional and trade use on a wide range of exterior building surfaces. Built on 100% acrylic resins, it delivers durable, colorfast performance with resistance to fading, peeling, and blistering. A single coat provides full coverage over properly prepared surfaces, with a coverage rate of approximately 400 square feet per gallon. The neutral tint base can be mixed to over 1,000 custom colors, making it well suited for both new construction and repaint work. Sold by the gallon.

This paint is designed for exterior surfaces including wood, masonry, stucco, and metal. It applies well in temperatures down to 35 degrees F, extending the usable season for exterior painting crews. Application is compatible with brush, roller, paint pad, or sprayer. For spray application, the product may be thinned slightly with water. On new wood, BSC PREFERRED recommends priming first with a BSC PREFERRED latex or alkyd exterior wood primer before topcoating with this product.

Installation Notes

Surface preparation is critical before application — clean, dry, and structurally sound surfaces are required for proper adhesion and single-coat performance. Dries to the touch in approximately 2 hours; recoat time is 4 to 6 hours under normal conditions. Apply only when ambient and surface temperatures are at or above 35 degrees F.
