The BSC PREFERRED HLT124 is a hook and loop touch fastener strip designed for mounting and hanging applications in both indoor and outdoor environments. The system uses a rubber-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive backing to bond to surfaces, while the touch fastener closure creates a mechanical hold when hook and loop sides are pressed together. Hundreds of hooks interlock with hundreds of loops on contact, forming a secure bond. When separated, the hooks straighten and release cleanly from the loops. The weather-resistant construction makes it suitable for temperature extremes, and the adhesive is rated for both high and low temperature environments. Installers, facilities maintenance crews, and trade professionals use this product for mounting signs, posters, displays, and tools without fasteners or hardware.
The HLT124 is used in light commercial and residential settings where a removable, reusable fastening solution is needed. Common applications include hanging signage, display panels, tool organization, and fixture mounting on walls, partitions, and other surfaces. This product is sold as a single component - hook and loop sides are sold separately and must be ordered individually. It is equivalent to part number S-12733. The adhesive backing adheres directly to clean, dry surfaces without additional tools or hardware.
Equivalent to part number S-12733. Designed as a single-side component of a two-part hook and loop touch fastener system; the opposing side must be purchased separately to complete the fastener pair.
Clean and dry the mounting surface thoroughly before applying the adhesive backing - oils, dust, or moisture will reduce bond strength. Press the adhesive side firmly against the surface and hold for several seconds to activate the pressure-sensitive bond. Allow adequate cure time before applying load to the fastener. No specialized tools are required, but surface preparation is critical for long-term adhesion.
