The BSC PREFERRED G30071 is a case of 1000 general-purpose identification tags designed to label or address items where standard adhesive labels cannot be applied. Each tag includes a 3/16-inch reinforced, tear-resistant eyelet that accepts string or wire for secure attachment. These tags are suited for trade and industrial environments where durable, reusable identification is needed on equipment, valves, pipe runs, electrical components, or service parts during inspection, maintenance, or staging. Attachment accessories are sold separately: 12-inch cotton string (G2501) and 12-inch wire (G2500) are available as companion items.
These identification tags are appropriate for use in commercial and residential service environments across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facilities maintenance applications. They are commonly used by service technicians to tag shut-off valves, circuit breakers, equipment, or parts during a job. The reinforced eyelet construction makes them suitable for repeated handling in the field. Each case contains 1000 tags, making it a practical stock item for service fleets, shop supply rooms, or contractor supply cabinets.
Designed as a general-purpose identification tag suitable for use across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and industrial service applications wherever adhesive labeling is not practical.
No tools are required for tag application. Loop string or wire through the eyelet and secure to the target item. When tagging energized electrical equipment or pressurized systems, follow all applicable lockout/tagout procedures per OSHA and local code requirements before service. Store unused tags in a dry location to maintain tag integrity.
