The BSC PREFERRED G30053 is a wired identification tag used to mark, identify, or address items that cannot accept a conventional adhesive label. Each tag features a 3/16 inch reinforced, tear-resistant eyelet and comes pre-wired with a 12 inch length of 26 gauge wire for fast, secure attachment. These tags are suited for inventory control, parts tracking, equipment tagging, and job-site identification tasks where labeling directly on a surface is not practical. Sold in cases of 1000, they are a standard consumable for shops, warehouses, and service operations that process high volumes of tagged items. Additional wire is available under stock number G2500.
These identification tags are appropriate for general industrial, commercial, and trade applications. Common use cases include tagging HVAC components during service calls, marking plumbing and electrical parts in staging areas, organizing contractor supply inventory, and flagging equipment awaiting repair or inspection. The pre-attached wire makes them ready to use out of the case with no additional hardware required.
Designed as a general-purpose identification tag for use across industrial, commercial, and trade environments wherever wire-attached tagging is required.
Attach by threading the pre-attached wire through or around the item being tagged and securing the loop. No tools are required for standard attachment. When tagging energized equipment or live panels, follow all applicable NFPA 70E and site-specific lockout/tagout procedures before applying tags. Store unused tags in a dry location to prevent eyelet corrosion or tag degradation.
