The BSC PREFERRED G10053 is a wired identification tag designed to mark or address items that cannot accept a label. Each tag features a 3/16 inch reinforced, tear-resistant eyelet pre-wired with 12 inches of 26 gauge wire, making it ready to attach directly to equipment, components, tools, valves, or other trade inventory. This case pack contains 1000 tags, suited for high-volume tagging operations in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general facility maintenance environments. The reinforced eyelet resists tearing under load, and the attached wire eliminates the need for a separate fastener during field identification tasks.
These tags are used wherever a surface is too irregular, too small, or too delicate for an adhesive label. Common applications include tagging shut-off valves, pipe sections, electrical components awaiting service, and tools or parts staged for inspection. Facilities maintenance crews, contractors, and warehouse personnel use tags like these during equipment audits, service calls, and inventory control operations. Sold as a case of 1000 units, this pack is appropriate for shops or crews that tag frequently and need a consistent, reliable supply on hand. Compatible additional wire is available under stock number G2500. This product is equivalent to part number S-931PW.
Equivalent to part number S-931PW. Designed for general identification and tagging use across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facility maintenance applications where adhesive labels are not practical.
Thread the pre-attached wire through or around the item being tagged and twist or tie to secure. No tools are required for standard attachment. For tagging live electrical components or energized equipment, follow applicable NFPA 70E lockout/tagout procedures and ensure power is de-energized before personnel make contact with the equipment. Store unused tags in a dry location to prevent moisture damage to the wire or tag stock.
