The BSC PREFERRED ESSB2118C is a wall-hung service sink kit built for janitorial, utility, and maintenance environments. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, the single-bowl sink measures 18 inches wide by 14 inches front-to-back with a 12-inch basin depth, providing adequate capacity for washing mop heads, equipment, and cleaning supplies. The kit ships complete with an ESSB2118 sink, an LK940BR03L2H faucet, and an LK173 cast iron P-trap, reducing sourcing time. Coved interior corners simplify cleaning and reduce debris accumulation. A 3.5-inch centered drain opening and a full-length 12-inch-high backsplash support efficient drainage and wall protection. The assembly meets NSF standards for lead-free construction. Licensed plumbers typically handle the wall-mount and rough-in work.
This sink kit is suited for commercial and institutional spaces where a dedicated floor-level or utility cleaning station is required. Typical installations include janitorial closets, school maintenance rooms, healthcare facility utility areas, and office service spaces. The wall-hung configuration keeps the floor clear for mopping and general access. The included faucet and P-trap allow the installer to complete the rough-in and finish connection without sourcing additional components, streamlining the installation process in new construction or renovation projects.
Designed as an OEM-matched wall-hung service sink assembly for commercial and institutional utility installations. Kit components are factory-matched: ESSB2118 sink body, LK940BR03L2H faucet, and LK173 cast iron P-trap.
Wall-hung service sinks require installation by a licensed plumber familiar with IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Confirm wall blocking or structural backing is in place before mounting, as a fully loaded sink imposes significant point loads on the wall. Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in location and height before beginning. Do not overtighten the P-trap connections on the cast iron fitting; hand-snug plus a quarter turn is appropriate for slip-joint fittings.
