The BSC PREFERRED ELXU250RCH0 is an offset double bowl undermount kitchen sink manufactured from natural quartz sand particles and high-performance acrylic resins. This composite construction produces a nonporous, ultra-smooth surface that resists stains, food particles, dirt, and germs without special treatments. The charcoal finish maintains its color under heavy daily use. Two extra-deep rectangular bowls provide generous workspace for large stockpots, baking sheets, and oversized cookware. Rear drain placement in each bowl keeps the bowl floor clear and maximizes undercabinet storage space. The sink is heat-safe up to 535 degrees F, and the quartz composite material absorbs sound during use, reducing operational noise at the sink.
The ELXU250RCH0 is designed for undermount installation in residential kitchen applications. A minimum cabinet width of 36 inches is required for proper fit. The sink is compatible with standard garbage disposal units, making it suitable for typical residential kitchen setups. Its offset bowl configuration positions the larger and smaller bowls asymmetrically, allowing one bowl to accommodate deep soaking or large cookware while the other remains free for prep work. This sink is installed by licensed plumbers or qualified kitchen remodelers during new construction or kitchen renovation projects.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchen base cabinets with a minimum 36-inch cabinet width. Compatible with standard garbage disposal systems.
Undermount sink installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer. Shut off the water supply and disconnect any existing drain lines before removing an existing sink. Follow the countertop fabricator and cabinet manufacturer guidelines for cutout dimensions and mounting clip placement specific to undermount applications. Verify local plumbing code compliance, including proper trap and drain sizing per IPC requirements, before completing the installation.
