The sink body is constructed from a composite of natural quartz sand and UV-stable acrylic resins, producing a dense, nonporous surface that resists stains, bacteria, and discoloration. The material is also naturally sound-deadening, which reduces noise from water and dishware impact. Heat resistance is rated to 535 degrees F.
