The BSC PREFERRED ELUHH1616TPDBG is a single bowl undermount kitchen sink constructed from 16-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The rectangular bowl measures 18.5 inches wide by 18.5 inches long by 9 inches deep, providing a continuous work area suited to washing large cookware and stacking dishes. The Perfect Drain system seats flush to the bowl floor, eliminating the gap around the drain basket where food debris typically collects. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce vibration and noise during use. A licensed plumber installs this sink as part of a countertop cutout application on cabinetry with a minimum 24-inch cabinet width.
This sink is designed for residential kitchen installations where an undermount configuration is preferred, keeping the countertop surface uninterrupted and easier to wipe clean. The offset drain placement shifts the drain toward the rear of the bowl, allowing larger items to rest flat on the bowl floor and freeing up cabinet storage space below. The included EBG1414 bottom grid sits inside the bowl to protect the stainless steel surface from scratching during daily use. The forgiving brushed stainless finish can be restored using the BSC PREFERRED stainless steel restoration kit if deeper surface scratches occur over time. This sink suits kitchens with stone, solid surface, or laminate countertops where the sink is mounted below the countertop deck.
Designed as an undermount replacement or new-construction sink for residential kitchens with a minimum 24-inch base cabinet. Compatible countertop materials include stone, solid surface, and laminate with a standard undermount cutout configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before removing any existing sink. The undermount mounting method requires silicone adhesive and mechanical clips rated for the countertop material being used. Do not overtighten drain locknut connections against the stainless steel bowl floor.
