The BSC PREFERRED ELUHAD191655 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single bowl undermount kitchen sink designed for residential and light commercial kitchen installations. The rectangular bowl measures 19 inches in length by 16 inches in width with a depth of 5.375 inches, providing generous usable capacity for dishwashing and food prep tasks. An offset 3.5-inch rear drain placement helps preserve cabinet storage space below. Sound Guard noise-reduction pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to dampen vibration and water noise during use. The sink carries ADA compliance when properly installed and is manufactured in the USA.
This undermount sink is suited for residential kitchen remodels and new construction projects as well as light commercial settings. The Lustertone Classic brushed finish resists visible scratching over time, with light surface marks blending into the satin texture through normal use. Minor deeper scratches can be addressed with a compatible restoration kit. Installation requires a minimum cabinet width of 27 inches. Plumbers and finish carpenters typically handle the undermount template cutting, clipping, and silicone seal work during countertop fabrication and installation.
Designed for undermount installation in kitchens requiring a minimum cabinet width of 27 inches. Accepts a standard 3.5-inch drain fitting. Compatible with countertop materials suitable for undermount mounting including stone, solid surface, and engineered quartz.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or experienced finish carpenter working alongside countertop fabricators. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain connections before beginning any sink replacement work. The undermount mounting process requires countertop cutout work, mounting clips, and a continuous silicone bead seal at the sink perimeter to prevent water intrusion. Verify local plumbing code requirements under the IPC for drain fitting and venting configuration before completing the rough-in.
