The BSC PREFERRED ELUHAD161645 is an undermount single-bowl kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a Lustertone finish. It measures 18.5 inches by 18.5 inches with a bowl depth of 4.375 inches, designed to mount beneath the countertop for a clean, flush installation profile. The scratch-resistant Lustertone finish stands up to daily use, and surface scratches can be addressed with a compatible restoration kit. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce vibration and water noise during use. A rear center drain placement maximizes usable basin area and keeps the drain clear of the primary work zone within the cabinet. The sink is manufactured in the USA and meets ADA compliance requirements when installed according to applicable guidelines.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations where an undermount configuration is specified. The 18.5-inch square footprint requires a minimum cabinet size of 24 inches. It accommodates standard garbage disposal units, making it practical for typical kitchen rough-in setups. The shallow 4.375-inch bowl depth and ADA-compliant design make it appropriate for accessible kitchen builds where knee clearance and reach requirements must be met per applicable accessibility codes. Plumbers and kitchen installers working on new construction or remodel projects will find the rear center drain position straightforward to rough-in.
Designed for undermount installation in residential kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 24 inches. Compatible with standard garbage disposal units. ADA compliance is achieved when the sink is installed in accordance with applicable accessibility code requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber familiar with undermount sink mounting techniques and local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect drain lines before removing any existing sink. The countertop cutout must be sized and sealed according to the countertop material manufacturer specifications to prevent moisture intrusion at the undermount joint. Verify drain rough-in alignment with the rear center drain location prior to securing the sink to the underside of the countertop.
