The BSC PREFERRED ELUHAD131645PD is a single bowl undermount kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a lustrous scratch-resistant finish. Measuring 16 inches x 18.5 inches x 4.375 inches, it fits a minimum cabinet cutout of 21 inches. The rear-center drain placement maximizes usable basin space and improves cabinet clearance below. An edgeless Perfect Drain design eliminates the gap around the drain opening, reducing food particle buildup and simplifying cleaning. Sound guard padding applied to the underside of the basin reduces vibration and noise during water flow. This sink is ADA compliant when properly installed, making it suitable for accessible kitchen applications in both residential and light commercial settings.
This sink is designed for undermount installation in residential kitchens and accessible facilities requiring ADA-compliant fixtures. It suits countertop materials compatible with undermount mounting methods, including stone, solid surface, and engineered composites. The rear-center drain position is particularly useful in shallow-depth installations where front-to-back cabinet space is limited. Licensed plumbers and kitchen remodelers typically handle the install as part of a countertop or full kitchen renovation. The sink weighs approximately 6.95 pounds unpackaged, making single-technician handling straightforward during rough-in and final mounting.
Designed as an OEM-style undermount sink replacement or new installation for residential kitchen cabinetry with a minimum cabinet width of 21 inches. Suitable for countertops that support undermount sink mounting methods.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before removing any existing sink. Undermount installations require countertop cutout and adhesive or clip-based mounting hardware appropriate to the countertop material — verify countertop compatibility before cutting. Do not use abrasive mounting hardware or over-torque drain fittings, as this can damage the sink deck or drain seal.
