The BSC PREFERRED ELUH231710LPD is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 25.5 inches long by 19.25 inches wide by 10 inches deep, providing a generous basin suited for washing, soaking, and stacking large cookware. The sink ships with an LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer included. The Perfect Drain design eliminates the gap around the drain opening, reducing trapped food debris and simplifying cleaning. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the bottom of the bowl reduce noise and vibration during use. This model features a rear-left drain placement, which increases usable basin floor space and clears more room in the cabinet below. Plumbers and kitchen remodelers install this unit below the countertop surface for a flush, seamless countertop edge.
The ELUH231710LPD is intended for residential kitchen installations where an undermount configuration is specified. The rear-left drain position is particularly useful in standard base cabinet layouts where P-trap clearance and under-sink storage are priorities. Straight sidewalls and a flat bottom promote efficient stacking of pots and sheet pans. The sink weighs 21 pounds and is sold as a single unit. Undermount mounting brackets are not included and must be sourced separately. The included LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer are ready for installation at time of sink fit-up.
Designed as an undermount replacement or new-installation sink for residential kitchen countertop applications requiring a single-bowl configuration with a 25.5-inch by 19.25-inch cutout footprint.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified kitchen installer. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before removing an existing sink. Undermount mounting brackets appropriate for the countertop material must be sourced separately and installed per the countertop fabricator's requirements. Follow local plumbing code — including IPC provisions — for drain connection, venting, and trap sizing.
