The BSC PREFERRED ELUH1716 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single bowl undermount kitchen sink designed for residential and light commercial installations. The bowl measures 16 inches in length by 17.5 inches in width with a depth of 7.5 inches, providing ample capacity for washing, soaking, and stacking cookware. An offset 3.5-inch rear drain placement clears under-cabinet plumbing and adds usable space inside the bowl. The lustrous scratch-resistant finish resists everyday wear, and sound-deadening pads bonded to the underside of the basin reduce vibration and noise during use. Plumbers and kitchen installers working on remodel or new-construction projects will find this sink straightforward to fit into standard undermount rough-in configurations.
The ELUH1716 is suited for residential kitchens, home bars, and light commercial prep areas. Its undermount design eliminates the rim-to-countertop seam, making countertop cleaning easier and giving stone or solid-surface installations a clean, flush appearance. The sink fits a minimum cabinet width of 24 inches. It accepts standard 3.5-inch garbage disposal flanges and strainer baskets, so pairing with a disposal requires no special adapters. Overall outside dimensions are 18.5 inches in length by 20 inches in width, keeping the footprint manageable even in tighter cabinet runs.
Designed as an undermount replacement or new-construction sink for cabinets with a minimum 24-inch width. Accepts standard 3.5-inch drain flanges and garbage disposal units. Intended for undermount installation into stone, solid-surface, or similarly supported countertop materials.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified kitchen installer following local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Undermount sinks require countertop material capable of supporting the sink weight and the adhesive or clip-based fastening system specified by the countertop fabricator. Do not overtighten drain hardware; follow the drain flange or disposal manufacturer torque guidance.
