The BSC PREFERRED ELUH1616DBG is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single-bowl undermount kitchen sink built for high-demand residential and commercial use. The square bowl measures 18.5 inches by 18.5 inches with a depth of 7.875 inches, providing ample room for large pots, sheet pans, and commercial cookware. The Lustertone finish is engineered to blend minor surface scratches over time, maintaining a consistent high-sheen appearance through years of heavy use. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the sides and bottom of the bowl reduce vibration and noise during water flow and impact. Licensed plumbers and kitchen installers are the primary tradespeople handling this fixture.
This sink is suited for residential kitchens, laundry rooms, bar installations, and light commercial settings. Undermount installation positions the sink flush beneath the countertop deck for a clean, seamless countertop-to-bowl transition that simplifies countertop wiping and cleanup. The rear-center drain placement at 3.5 inches from the rear wall maximizes open cabinet space below the sink. A minimum cabinet cutout of 24 inches is required for installation. The package includes a bottom grid and drain hardware, reducing the number of additional components needed to complete the rough-in.
Designed as an undermount drop-in replacement for single-bowl kitchen sink applications requiring a minimum 24-inch cabinet base. Suitable for residential kitchens, laundry, bar, and light commercial sink installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC standards. Shut off the water supply and disconnect drain lines before removing an existing sink. Undermount installations require adhesive or mechanical clip systems appropriate to the countertop material; confirm countertop support can carry the sink weight before securing. Do not overtighten drain hardware connections, as this can crack or deform the drain flange seat.
