The BSC PREFERRED ELUH1316PDBG is a single bowl undermount kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The basin measures 16 inches long by 18.5 inches wide by 7.875 inches deep, providing generous room for washing, soaking, and stacking. A rear center drain placement keeps the basin floor clear and optimizes cabinet storage below. The integrated Perfect Drain design eliminates the gap around the drain basket, so food particles and debris rinse away cleanly rather than collecting around the rim. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the exterior shell reduce vibration and noise during use. A bottom grid (LKWOBG1316SS) is included to protect the sink floor from scratches and dents.
This sink is suited for residential and light commercial kitchen installations where an undermount configuration is required. The rectangular basin profile fits standard base cabinet cutouts with a minimum cabinet width of 21 inches. Its depth and basin geometry handle everyday prep, washing, and soaking tasks. The sink is appropriate for gourmet kitchens, laundry rooms, and similar wet-area applications where a flush countertop-to-basin transition is preferred. Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or skilled tradesperson working to IPC standards.
Designed as an undermount replacement or new-installation sink for kitchen and light commercial wet-area applications requiring a minimum cabinet width of 21 inches. Includes bottom grid LKWOBG1316SS. Compatible with a wide range of standard kitchen sink accessories and drain hardware.
Undermount sinks are typically installed by a licensed plumber in coordination with countertop fabrication. Power down any in-cabinet electrical components and shut off the water supply before beginning work. Follow IPC guidelines for drain connection and proper silicone sealing at the countertop-to-sink interface to prevent water intrusion. Do not overtighten mounting clips against the countertop substrate, as this can stress both the sink rim and the stone or solid-surface material.
