The BSC PREFERRED EHS-18X is a single-bowl stainless steel hand sink built for demanding commercial and institutional environments. Constructed from 18-gauge, type 304 stainless steel, it delivers strong corrosion resistance and long service life under frequent use. The unit measures 18 inches long by 14.5 inches wide by 11 inches tall overall, with a bowl sized at 14 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. A 1.5-inch center drain opening simplifies waste flow and routine cleanup. The sink ships complete with a lead-free goose neck faucet and strainer, reducing the number of components a plumber needs to source separately before installation.
This hand sink is designed for commercial and public-use settings including healthcare facilities, classrooms, office buildings, and park restrooms. The splash mount faucet configuration uses a two-hole layout, keeping the installation straightforward for licensed plumbers working to standard rough-in dimensions. A full-length 6-inch backsplash is integrated into the unit to protect wall surfaces and control water splash in high-traffic areas. The sink meets NSF certification standards, making it appropriate for facilities where sanitation compliance is required by code or inspection.
Designed as an OEM-style commercial hand sink for installation in standard single-hole or two-hole splash mount faucet configurations in commercial plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply completely before connecting supply lines or making drain connections. Verify rough-in dimensions and wall-mounting hardware capacity before securing the unit, as the sink weighs 16 pounds and will increase in load when filled. Do not overtighten the drain fitting or faucet mounting nuts, as stainless steel fixtures can be damaged by excessive torque on threaded connections.
