The BSC PREFERRED ECTSR33229TBG5 is a dual mount, double bowl kitchen sink kit constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 33 inches in length by 22 inches in width with a bowl depth of 9 inches. Each of the two equal bowls measures 14.75 inches in length by 16.75 inches in width, providing substantial usable area for washing, soaking, and rinsing simultaneously. A slim rim profile reduces the gap between countertop and sink edge, limiting debris accumulation and simplifying surface cleaning. Sound-deadening undercoating on the sides and bottom reduces water noise during use. This sink kit is suited for installation by licensed plumbers or experienced finish contractors in residential kitchen applications.
The ECTSR33229TBG5 is designed for residential kitchen installations where both drop-in and undermount mounting configurations are required. It fits a minimum cabinet opening of 36 inches and accommodates countertop thicknesses ranging from 0.75 inches up to 1.5 inches. Rear-centered drain placements in both bowls keep the under-sink cabinet area clear and maintain compatibility with standard garbage disposals. Five faucet holes are included to support a range of faucet and accessory configurations. The included CTXBG1315 bottom grids protect the sink basin from scratching and elevate dishware for improved drainage.
Designed for drop-in or undermount installation in kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet size of 36 inches and countertop thicknesses from 0.75 inches to 1.5 inches. Compatible with standard garbage disposals via rear-centered drain placement.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain connections before removing any existing sink. Verify cabinet dimensions and countertop thickness before cutting the mounting opening. Follow the manufacturer-supplied template for drop-in cutouts; for undermount installations, confirm countertop material compatibility and use appropriate mounting hardware and sealant.
