The BSC PREFERRED ECTSR33229TBG4 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel dual mount kitchen sink measuring 33 by 22 inches, with two equal bowls each measuring 14.75 by 16.75 inches and a depth of 9 inches. It supports both drop-in and undermount installation methods via a slim rim design that creates a flush transition between the sink deck and the countertop surface. Sound-deadening pads and undercoating are applied to the exterior to reduce operational noise. The package ships with two CTXBG1315 bottom grids. Licensed plumbers and experienced kitchen installers handle this type of fixture in residential and light commercial settings.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations where a double-bowl configuration is needed for simultaneous tasks such as soaking, rinsing, and drying large cookware. The rear-centered drain placement on each bowl keeps the cabinet interior clear of obstructions, improving storage access below. A 4-hole faucet configuration accepts standard kitchen faucet and accessory setups. A minimum base cabinet width of 36 inches is required for proper installation. The flat-bottom bowls and tight-radius corners maximize usable bowl volume and simplify cleaning.
Designed for drop-in or undermount installation in residential kitchen base cabinets with a minimum width of 36 inches. Countertop cutout dimensions should be confirmed against manufacturer specifications prior to cutting. Accepts standard 3.5-inch kitchen drain assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified kitchen installer in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code where applicable. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing the old sink. For undermount applications, verify countertop material and substrate thickness before selecting the appropriate mounting hardware and adhesive. Do not overtighten mounting clips against the underside of the countertop, as this can crack stone or engineered surfaces.
