The BSC PREFERRED ECTSR25229TBG5 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel single bowl kitchen sink designed for residential kitchen installations. Measuring 25 inches in length by 22 inches in width, the rectangular bowl interior dimensions are 22.5 inches long, 16.75 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. The flat-bottom basin with tight geometric corners maximizes usable space for large cookware, stockpots, and sheet pans. A slim rim profile supports both drop-in and undermount installation methods. Full-spray sound-deadening material is applied to the underside of the basin to reduce operational noise. The rear-centered 3.5-inch drain placement keeps the cabinet space below more accessible and unobstructed.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen renovations and new construction projects where a large-capacity single bowl is required. The ECTSR25229TBG5 fits cabinets with a minimum width of 30 inches and accommodates countertop thicknesses between 0.75 inches and 1.5 inches. The included CTXBG2115 bottom grid protects the basin surface from scratches and provides a secondary drainage position for drying dishes without a drying rack. Licensed plumbers and skilled tradespeople typically handle the installation in countertop cutout applications.
Designed for drop-in or undermount installation in kitchen countertops between 0.75 inches and 1.5 inches thick. Requires a minimum cabinet width of 30 inches. Drain cutout accepts a standard 3.5-inch kitchen drain assembly.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off water supply lines and disconnect existing drain connections before removing any existing sink. For undermount installations, follow countertop manufacturer specifications for adhesive and clip-fastener requirements to ensure a watertight seal. Do not overtighten mounting hardware on undermount clips, as this can stress the countertop material.
