The BSC PREFERRED ECTRU35179TC is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel undermount kitchen sink built for demanding residential kitchen use. The single-bowl basin measures 36.5 inches long, 18.5 inches wide, and 9 inches deep, providing ample room for large cookware, stockpots, and sheet pans. An offset drain placement improves under-sink storage clearance and keeps the basin floor clear. Sound-deadening pads and spray-applied undercoating reduce vibration and water noise during use. The flat bottom, tight corners, and cross-break drainage pattern make routine cleaning straightforward while keeping water moving efficiently toward the drain.
This sink is suited for residential kitchen installations in new construction and remodel projects. The undermount configuration positions the sink rim below the countertop surface, eliminating the lip found on drop-in models and simplifying counter wiping. It is appropriate for stone, solid-surface, and engineered-quartz countertops where undermount cutting and adhesive mounting are standard practice. The included accessory kit contains a custom-fit bottom grid, a deep strainer drain, and a cleaning kit, packaged in a protective cloth bag to reduce transit damage.
Designed as an undermount single-bowl kitchen sink for residential countertop installations compatible with stone, solid-surface, and engineered-quartz countertops that support standard undermount mounting methods.
Undermount sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or experienced installer working alongside a countertop fabricator. Shut off the water supply at the fixture stops or main valve before beginning any drain or supply connections. The countertop must be cut and polished to the sink template dimensions before the sink is adhesive-mounted and clamped from below. Drain connections should comply with applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements for trap arm length and venting.
