The BSC PREFERRED ECTRU32179RTC is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel undermount kitchen sink kit in a 60/40 double bowl configuration. The larger bowl handles high-volume tasks like filling stockpots or soaking oversized items, while the smaller bowl provides a dedicated space for rinsing and food prep. Both bowls measure a combined 31.5 inches wide by 18.5 inches deep by 9 inches in depth, giving tradespeople and installers a solid footprint to work with on standard undermount countertop cutouts. Straight sidewalls and a flat bottom maximize usable basin volume and simplify cleanup. This kit ships with the sink, two custom-fit bottom grids, deep strainer drains, and a cleaning kit, all packed in a protective cloth bag.
This sink is designed for residential kitchen installations where an undermount configuration is specified. The undermount mounting style integrates flush with the underside of a solid-surface, granite, quartz, or stone countertop, creating a continuous surface between countertop and sink that is easy to wipe clean. The offset drain placement is positioned to preserve cabinet space below for p-trap and disposal hardware. Sound deadening pads are applied to the sides and bottom to reduce noise during use. Cross breaks on the basin floor promote drainage toward the drain opening. The kit is compatible with standard garbage disposals.
Designed as an OEM-style undermount installation for standard residential kitchen countertop cutouts. Compatible with standard garbage disposals.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer familiar with undermount sink mounting systems and local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing an existing sink. Follow the countertop fabricator's cutout specifications and use manufacturer-approved undermount clips and silicone sealant to secure the sink to the underside of the countertop. Verify drain alignment and p-trap clearance before finalizing the installation.
