The BSC PREFERRED DRKR22202 is a single bowl drop-in stainless steel sink built for high-traffic commercial and institutional environments. Constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it measures 22 inches long by 19.5 inches wide by 7.5 inches deep, with a bowl depth of 7.375 inches. A centrally located 3.5-inch drain opening promotes efficient drainage across the full bowl floor. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and ambient noise during use. The U-channel mounting system positions installation clips inside the channel, eliminating the need to work blind from below the countertop. Two faucet holes are pre-drilled, allowing fixture selection to match the application. Made in the USA.
The DRKR22202 is designed for demanding institutional and commercial settings where sinks see frequent, sustained use. Educational classrooms, art rooms, science labs, and light-duty commercial kitchens are typical installation environments. The rectangular bowl geometry and generous depth handle bulky items and high-volume rinsing tasks. The drop-in mounting method integrates cleanly into standard countertop cutouts without specialized cabinetry modifications. The sink can also accommodate standard garbage disposals where space and local plumbing codes permit.
Designed as an OEM-style drop-in replacement or new installation sink for standard countertop cutouts in residential, educational, and light commercial applications requiring a single bowl stainless steel sink.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing fixture. Verify countertop cutout dimensions against sink rim specifications before dropping in. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the rim before setting the sink, and secure mounting clips evenly to prevent distortion of the rim channel.
