The BSC PREFERRED DRKADQ2517502 is a single bowl drop-in sink built for classroom and educational facility installations. Constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it measures 25 inches long by 17 inches wide by 5 inches deep, with a rectangular bowl interior of 16 inches by 13.5 inches by 4.875 inches. The sink is ADA compliant when installed to specification, making it suitable for accessible learning environments. An offset drain placement keeps the bowl floor clear and allows more usable cabinet space below. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce impact noise during typical classroom use. The sink weighs 13 pounds and is manufactured in the USA.
This sink is intended for drop-in counter installation in K-12 classrooms, science labs, vocational rooms, and similar educational spaces where ADA accessibility and durability are required. The offset drain is compatible with standard 3.5-inch garbage disposal flanges, adding flexibility for custodial or lab prep use. A minimum cabinet width of 30 inches is required for proper fitment. The Quick-Clip Mounting System allows the sink to be secured from above the counter without access from below, simplifying installation in retrofit situations where under-counter access is limited.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 30 inches. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain assemblies and garbage disposal flanges. Suitable for classroom, laboratory, and educational facility counter installations meeting ADA requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and applicable ADA accessibility standards. Shut off the water supply and disconnect drain connections before removing any existing fixture. Cut the countertop opening to the dimensions specified in the product installation sheet before seating the sink. Apply a continuous bead of approved silicone sealant around the perimeter of the cutout before dropping the sink into position and engaging the Quick-Clip fasteners.
