The BSC PREFERRED DRKAD3119652LM is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in single bowl sink built for educational, commercial, and institutional plumbing applications. The rectangular basin measures 31 inches by 19.5 inches with a 6.5-inch depth, giving technicians and end users a large, functional work area. Sound Guard damping pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce vibration and water noise at installation. The scratch-resistant finish is integral to the Type 304 surface and can be restored with a standard stainless steel restoration kit if deep marring occurs. This sink is ADA compliant when installed per applicable accessibility guidelines.
This sink is intended for drop-in installation in classrooms, school labs, commercial kitchens, bars, break rooms, and light commercial service areas where a single-basin stainless steel sink is required. The offset drain measures 3.5 inches and is positioned to maximize usable cabinet space below the sink deck. Two faucet holes are pre-configured in the sink deck, accepting a wide range of commercial or residential faucet styles. A minimum cabinet opening of 36 inches is required. A cutting template is included to simplify rough-in work during new construction or retrofit installations.
Designed for drop-in installation in cabinets with a minimum 36-inch opening. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain assemblies and standard garbage disposal flanges. Accepts most commercial or residential deck-mount faucets configured for a two-hole installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect any existing drain and supply lines before beginning work. Use the included cutting template to mark the countertop cutout precisely before cutting to avoid misalignment. Seal the sink rim with an appropriate silicone or plumber's putty product per the manufacturer and local code requirements before securing mounting clips.
