The BSC PREFERRED DRKAD311950FR4 is a single-bowl drop-in stainless steel sink built for classroom and institutional settings. Constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it measures 31 inches long by 19.5 inches wide by 5 inches deep overall. The rectangular basin interior measures 22 inches in length and 16 inches in width, providing a generous wash area for students and staff. A rear-center drain placement keeps the cabinet space below clear and functional. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce noise during use. ADA compliance is achieved when the sink is properly installed to applicable accessibility standards. Licensed plumbers handle the installation in commercial and institutional applications.
This sink is designed for drop-in countertop installation in classroom, laboratory, and light institutional environments. The rear-center drain layout suits installations where under-sink clearance is limited. The faucet hole configuration is FR4, accommodating a four-hole faucet deck layout for standard fixture options. A minimum cabinet width of 36 inches is required. Countertop thickness up to 0.75 inches is supported by the included mounting hardware. The 3.5-inch drain opening is sized to accept standard garbage disposal flanges and basket strainers. Made in the USA.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 36 inches. Faucet deck requires an FR4 four-hole faucet configuration. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain flanges and garbage disposal mounting assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before beginning any countertop cutout or connection work. Apply a continuous bead of approved plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the mounting rim before dropping the sink into the countertop cutout. Verify ADA mounting height requirements are met before finalizing the installation.
