The BSC PREFERRED DRKAD252250R3 is a single-bowl drop-in sink designed for classroom and educational facility installations. Built from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it measures 25 inches in length, 22 inches in width, and 5 inches in depth. The rectangular bowl interior measures 19 inches by 16 inches with a rear center drain placement, keeping the cabinet space below clear and accessible. A lustrous brushed finish resists surface scratches and can be restored with a standard restoration kit if deeper marks occur. Sound Guard dampening pads are applied to the underside to reduce basin noise during use, a practical feature in active classroom environments. Licensed plumbers install this sink as part of a drop-in countertop configuration.
This sink is intended for educational settings such as K-12 classrooms, science labs, and art rooms where a durable, easy-to-maintain plumbing fixture is required. It meets ADA standards when installed per applicable guidelines. The three pre-configured faucet holes accommodate a wide range of deck-mount faucet styles. A minimum cabinet width of 30 inches is required for proper fit. The drain opening is 3-1/2 inches, making it compatible with standard garbage disposals where clearance permits. Installation hardware is included for countertops up to 3/4 inches thick, and a cut-out template is provided to simplify rough-in work.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation sink for educational and institutional countertop applications requiring a single-bowl stainless steel fixture with a minimum 30-inch cabinet base width and countertops up to 3/4 inches thick.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and ADA accessibility requirements where applicable. Shut off the water supply at the shutoff valves and disconnect any existing drain and supply lines before removing or setting the sink. Use the included cut-out template to mark the countertop opening before cutting. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can deform the sink rim or damage the countertop surface.
