The BSC PREFERRED DLRQ1716101 is a single bowl, drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 17 inches long by 16 inches wide by 10.125 inches deep, providing an extra-deep rectangular basin suited for washing, soaking, and stacking full-size cookware. The quick-clip mounting system allows for straightforward drop-in installation without specialized hardware. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside of the bowl to reduce vibration and water noise during use. The sink ships ready for a standard 3.5-inch drain opening, making it compatible with most garbage disposals. The scratch-resistant finish is designed to blend light surface marks into the brushed texture over time. Manufactured in the USA.
This sink is intended for residential and light commercial installations where a compact but deep single bowl is required. Typical applications include kitchen countertop installations, wet bar setups, and laundry room utility stations. The 10.125-inch bowl depth accommodates large stock pots, sheet pans, and baking dishes that do not fit in shallower basins. The drop-in configuration suits standard countertop cutouts and works with laminate, solid surface, tile, and stone decking. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers with countertop fabrication experience are the typical installers.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-installation single bowl kitchen sink for standard countertop cutouts. Suitable for kitchen, bar, and laundry room applications with a 3.5-inch drain rough-in.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or a qualified tradesperson familiar with IPC-compliant drain and supply rough-in requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain connections before removing any existing sink. Verify the countertop cutout dimensions match the sink rim before applying silicone sealant and securing the quick-clip fasteners. Do not overtighten the mounting clips, as doing so can distort the rim or damage the countertop material.
