The BSC PREFERRED DLR2918101 is a drop-in, dual-bowl kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 29 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 10 inches in depth overall. Each of the two equal-sized bowls measures 12 inches by 12 inches with a bowl depth of 9.875 inches, providing generous capacity for washing, soaking, rinsing, and drying. The lustrous grain finish reflects light evenly and resists everyday scratching. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use. This sink is manufactured in the USA and sold as a single unit.
The DLR2918101 is intended for residential kitchen installations where a drop-in mounting configuration is preferred. The U-channel installation method seats the sink into a countertop cutout, making it accessible to plumbers and experienced DIYers working on kitchen remodels or sink replacements. The single faucet hole configuration suits standard deck-mount faucet setups. A minimum cabinet size of 33 inches is required. The straight sidewalls and 9.875-inch bowl depth accommodate large cookware, sheet pans, and stacked dish loads common in active kitchens.
Designed as a drop-in replacement or new-install sink for residential kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 33 inches. The 3.5-inch drain opening is compatible with standard kitchen strainer baskets and garbage disposal flanges. Single faucet hole configuration is compatible with standard deck-mount kitchen faucets.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson. Before beginning, shut off the water supply lines and disconnect any existing drain and disposal connections. The countertop cutout must meet the minimum cabinet size requirement of 33 inches; consult the manufacturer template for exact cutout dimensions. Follow local plumbing code requirements, including applicable sections of the International Plumbing Code, for drain and supply connections.
