The BSC PREFERRED DLR252212MR2 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink with a single-bowl, rectangular configuration and an overall size of 25 x 22 x 12.125 inches. The extra-deep, flat-bottom bowl measures 21 inches in length and 15.75 inches in width, providing continuous workspace for washing, soaking, and stacking large cookware. The lustrous, scratch-resistant finish is designed so everyday surface marks blend into the material grain, and deeper scratches can be polished out. Integrated sound-deadening pads reduce noise and vibration during use. Manufactured in the USA from Type 304 stainless steel, this sink is suited for residential kitchen installations handled by licensed plumbers or experienced contractors.
The DLR252212MR2 is configured for MR2 faucet hole setups, giving installers flexibility when selecting a compatible deck-mount faucet. The U-channel mounting design allows mounting clips to be placed from inside the channel, reducing the amount of time spent working underneath the countertop during installation. The 3.5-inch drain opening accepts standard basket strainers and is compatible with common garbage disposal flanges, making it appropriate for kitchens with existing waste disposal systems. This sink fits standard drop-in cutout applications in residential kitchens and is well-suited for high-use environments such as rental properties, remodels, and new construction.
Designed for drop-in installation in standard countertop cutouts for residential kitchen applications with MR2 faucet configurations. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain basket strainers and common garbage disposal flanges.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the sink rim before seating it into the cutout, and secure mounting clips evenly to prevent warping or gaps. Do not overtighten mounting hardware, as this can distort the sink rim or damage the countertop substrate.
