The BSC PREFERRED DLR252110PDMR2 is an 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel drop-in kitchen sink built for residential and light-commercial kitchens. The single rectangular bowl measures 25 inches by 21.25 inches by 10.125 inches deep, providing ample capacity for large cookware including stockpots and baking sheets. Straight sidewalls maximize usable interior space. The sink ships with an LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer, which eliminates the recessed gap typically found around standard basket strainers, directing food particles and liquid straight down the drain without catching debris at the rim. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the bowl sides and bottom reduce vibration and operating noise during use.
This sink is suited for drop-in installation in residential kitchen countertops and can also serve as a prep or bar sink where a single deep bowl is required. The minimum cabinet width for installation is 30 inches. The required countertop cutout measures 24.375 inches by 20.625 inches with a 1.5-inch corner radius. Stainless steel mounting clips are included, which compress against the underside of the countertop to secure the sink without additional hardware. The scratch-resistant Lustertone finish is repairable using a compatible BSC PREFERRED restoration kit if deep scratches occur over time.
Designed for drop-in installation in countertop openings cut to 24.375 inches by 20.625 inches with a 1.5-inch corner radius. Requires a minimum 30-inch base cabinet. Compatible with standard 3.5-inch drain openings.
Drop-in sink installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber under applicable IPC plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain plumbing before removing any prior sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the perimeter of the cutout before setting the sink, then tighten the included mounting clips evenly from below to seat the rim uniformly against the countertop. Do not overtighten clips on stone or solid-surface countertops without confirming the substrate's compressive rating with the countertop manufacturer.
