The BSC PREFERRED DLR172210PD0 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a lustrous finish that resists surface scratches. The bowl measures 17 inches x 22 inches x 10.125 inches deep, providing ample capacity for large cookware, baking sheets, and stacked dishware. The sink ships with an LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer assembly, which eliminates the traditional gap around the drain opening and allows food particles and debris to clear cleanly. Bottom sound-deadening pads reduce basin noise during use. Installation is drop-in via a U-channel mounting method and is compatible with countertop thicknesses up to 0.75 inches.
This sink is intended for residential kitchen installations. It requires a minimum cabinet opening of 21 inches wide. The drop-in configuration suits granite, laminate, quartz, and solid-surface countertops where a self-rimming installation is preferred. It is sold as a single unit and includes all mounting hardware for a standard countertop installation. Typical end users include plumbers handling kitchen remodels and finish trim-out, as well as general contractors installing kitchen fixtures during new construction.
Designed for drop-in installation in residential kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 21 inches and countertop thickness up to 0.75 inches. Includes LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer and mounting hardware as provided by the manufacturer.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the rim before setting the sink into the cutout, following the countertop manufacturer's recommendations for cutout dimensions. Connect the drain assembly and supply lines in accordance with local plumbing codes before restoring water service and checking for leaks.
